Mr. Hyde Pre Workout is a pre workout supplement from ProSupps. This company has blown up after the thriving off this specific pre workout. It is similar to C4 in the way that a company blasts up through one signature pre workout.
In this Mr. Hyde Pre Workout Review, we will be looking at everything from the experience to the ingredients to the side effects. And most importantly, is it worth the attention and popularity it has received?
I would recommend checking out a much better alternative – God of Rage Pre Workout.
But if you still want to purchase Mr. Hyde, you can get it at Amazon.
First thing’s first: the flavor. I tried the Cotton Candy flavor and it was solid. No complaints there.
The issues I encountered were with the experience itself. I took the recommended serving size of one scoop. There are 30 servings which is actually extremely rare in the pre workout game nowadays.
I started feeling the effects of Mr. Hyde about 15 minutes into the workout. There was nice touch of energy but not something that blew me away.
As for the pumps, I could not feel any. Literally zero. Only pumps you would get from this pre workout is because of the workout itself.
The focus was also not a strong suit in the ProSupps pre workout. Same with the pumps, I would not even think there were any focus ingredients.
Now, the main problem I encountered with Mr. Hyde was the nauseous feeling it gave me. I am not exactly sure when it hit, but there was a wheezy feeling that came over me.
In conclusion, it is fair to say I did not have a great experience with Mr. Hyde Pre Workout.
If you want a real pre workout, you should look into God of Rage or Woke AF Pre Workout from Bucked Up.
Mr. Hyde Pre Workout has a strong-looking label that would oftentimes indicate a great pre workout. But as we always like to emphasize here at FDN, Labels are just labels!
Just because a pre workout looks good on label does not mean it will translate into the powder.
Caffeine Anhydrous – 300mg
Starting off with Caffeine Anhydrous at 300mg. This is going to provide the energy kick in Mr. Hyde Pre Workout.
Beta Alanine – 2.5g
Beta Alanine is the ingredient that gives you that buzz during a workout. Moreover it adds to the energy and focus matrix naturally.
L-Citrulline – 500mg
Next there is L-Citrulline at a measly 500mg. Now, I am not one to usually look hard into the label, but this is an insanely low dose. Which inevitably leads to the weak pumps.
N-Acetyl Tyrosine – 50mg
Simply known as Tyrosine, this ingredient is going to add to the focus aspect of Mr. Hyde.
Theanine – 50mg
Then there is Theanine which is an ingredient when paired with caffeine can do wonders.
Theacrine – 25mg
Similar to the next ingredient in Mr. Hyde, Theacrine is there as an overarching ingredient. Mood, focus, energy, etc.
GABA – 25mg
GABA is an ingredient that most people may not recognize. It is usually there for mood elevation. Which I could feel a bit of post-workout, but not much.
Yohimbe Bark Extract – 3mg
Lastly, according to ProSupps themselves, Yohimbe is there for improved performance as well as a dual fat-burning effect.
Is Mr. Hyde Pre Workout a good pre workout?
From my experience, Mr. Hyde is not a pre workout I would recommend using. The only way I see anyone using this is if you are a beginner.
How much caffeine is in Mr. Hyde?
Mr. Hyde Pre Workout has 300 mg of Caffeine Anhydrous.
Is Mr. Hyde Pre Workout banned?
Mr. Hyde Pre Workout is not banned as it does not have any banned substance. Although I do believe they have recently rebranded.
Does Mr. Hyde have creatine?
Mr. Hyde from ProSupps has 1 gram of Creatine HCL for all of the creatine lovers.
Is C4 or Mr. Hyde better?
I would not suggest taking either. But if I really had to choose, I would go with Mr. Hyde Pre Workout.
First, a frontrunner for the best DMAA pre workout of 2021. Crack Pre Workout rose to the top with 120 mg DMAA. Similarly, the Dark Labs pre workout dials you in for the whole of your gym session and the pumps are insane.
Second, Excelsior has become a somewhat staple in the pre workout game. Known for its tunnel vision focus and enhanced energy. If you like hardcore pre workouts, you would want to get your hands on this.
Third, one of my absolute favorite pre workouts of all time, Assassin is a super hard-hitter. While it does not have DMAA or any other ingredients us Stim Junkies love, this pre workout is one of the most well-made pre workouts I have ever tried.
