After a failed first attempt, Psycho Pharma have come back with yet another version of the infamous Edge of Insanity Pre Workout. My first experience with this pre workout was a nightmare at best, but they have come back with a new label, and hopefully a better experience.
In this Edge of Insanity Pre Workout Review, we will be talking about everything from the benefits, side effects, flavors, and more. You don’t want to miss this one.
Supps Central has a deal on Edge of Insanity for 20% off with code FDN20.
Like I mentioned in the beginning, the initial version of the Edge of Insanity pre workout could not have gone worse. But, I am happy to say that this newest version is an extreme upgrade.
After taking a full scoop, I went on to have a really solid workout. This is, with no doubt, a hard-hitting pre workout. Like Assassin, this is more on the aggressive side instead of maybe a happy, mood-elevating pre workout.
One of the best things about Edge of Insanity pre workout was the sense of urgency. This is a productive, energy-inducing pre workout. No sitting around in the gym with this one.
The focus I got from Edge of Insanity was up there as well. Really locked in for the majority of the workout with no distractions.
On the other hand, the pumps were not skin-tearing, but they did the job. You may feel the beta alanine tingling more or less depending on your tolerance.
All in all, if you are looking for a heavy-hitting, productive pre workout with great focus, Edge of Insanity is something you should look into.
Edge of Insanity has several hardcore stimulants like Alpha Yohimbine, Yohimbine HCL, and others. There are a couple ingredients that you don’t often see in a pre workout, which I will explain later on. Overall, this is a fully loaded formula that matches the experience.
Caffeine Anhydrous (350 mg)
First ingredient we have is caffeine at 350 mg which is a very middle of the road dosage for a hardcore pre workout. This ingredient undoubtedly plays a part in the great energy in Edge of Insanity Pre Workout.
Alpha Yohimbine (4 mg)
Probably the main stimulant that stands out to most people, Alpha Yohimbine. Rarely do you see anything close to 4 g of Alpha Yo, which is partially why some people may feel a bit uneasy after their workout. But if you are taking a pre workout like this to begin with, you should be fine.
Beta Alanine (3.2 g)
Next ingredient is Beta Alanine which gives you that tingling feeling during your workout. Also helps with the pump formula, which is ok at best in Edge of Insanity.
GlycerPump (2.5 g)
GlycerPump is, not surprisingly, a pump ingredient. This may cause a bit of soft clumping of the powder, but nothing serious. Good addition by Psycho Pharma to have at least some sort of pump ingredients.
Kanna 20:1 Extract (750 mg)
One that most people most likely have not heard of. Kanna Extract is a variation of Psycho Pharma’s patented Zembrin. This ingredient is meant to have some mood-elevating effects which aren’t too apparent in this particular pre workout.
Agmatine Sulfate (500 mg)
Lastly, there is Agmatine Sulfate which helps prevent any unwanted effects from Edge of Insanity. 500 mg is a nice dosage that does the job without being too overwhelming.
Is Edge of Insanity Pre Workout Safe?
Although you still may go through a couple side effects like nauseous/ill feeling, it is very minor. Definitely nothing like the first variation of this pre workout.
Did the formula change?
Not only did the formula change once, but it changed a total of four times over time. While people are usually disappointed when a company reformulates a pre workout, no one was arguing when Psycho Pharma did. This latest version is by far the best.
Was Edge of Insanity Pre Workout banned?
Edge of Insanity was never banned, but probably should have been if Psycho Pharma decided to keep that first version. There are no ingredients like DMAA or anything similar so there is no reason for Edge of Insanity Pre Workout to be banned.
Crack Reloaded Pre Workout Review
First on the list, one of my favorite pre workouts of 2022. Crack Reloaded by Dark Labs is a DMAA-Free version of their infamous Crack Pre Workout. But don’t be fooled. This pre workout is just as good if not better…
Street Series Pre Workout Review
Then we have a high-flying euphoric pre workout from Street Supplements. Another new-comer to the game, but one that people need to know about. This pre workout is absolute insanity.
Assassin Pre Workout Review v7
Lastly, one of my absolute favorite pre workouts of all time, Assassin is a super hard-hitter. While it does not have DMAA or any other ingredients us Stim Junkies love, this pre workout is one of the most well-made pre workouts I have ever tried.
