The return of the arguably the most intense fat burner of all time is here – Apollon Nutrition Shogun. Back in the day, Shogun made you sweat your balls off. But the question is, did it change?
In this Shogun fat burner review, we will go over everything from the experience to the label. Let’s get right into it!

First thing is first, I started off with the recommended serving size which is 2 capsules. And this was more than enough.
The experience itself is extremely intense in general. Shogun Fat Burner hits you very hard and very quick.
Shogun is going to make you sweat like never before. I would imagine this is what being on fire feels like. And this feeling lasts for hours on hours.
Another great aspect of Shogun is the mood elevation/nootropic effect. Most fat burners provide a nice focus, but Shogun got me “in the zone.”
Last but not least, the appetite suppression was solid. Definitely some better options out there. But what sets Shogun apart from the rest is that feeling that it is actually make you burn fat through its intensity.
Apollon Nutrition Shogun has some ingredients that are typical fat burners, but some that are pretty specific to Shogun. The ones you probably recognize include Caffeine, DMHA, and Synephrine.
Caffeine Anhydrous – 300 mg
Intense fat burners are supposed to do 3 things: Provide Energy and Focus, Suppress Appetite, and slight increase metabolism. Caffeine is going to give you an energy boost. At 300 mg you are definitely going to feel an extra kick.
DMHA – 150 mg
Next, DMHA is one of the more popular focus ingredients that has a subtle mood elevation aspect. 150 mg is a perfect dosage that will get you dialed in.
Grains of Paradise has seen a huge increase in use over the past couple of years. Essentially becoming the premier fat-burning ingredient. The 50 mg dose is a large part for the reason Shogun is such an intense fat burner.
Synephrine – 60 mg
Then we have a key appetite-suppressing and focus stimulant in Apollon Nutrition Shogun. No fat burner is going to magically burn fat for you, but Synephrine will help.
L-Carnitine – 1 g
Carnitine at 1 gram is going to speed up/expend the body processes after taking Shogun. Also used as a recovery ingredient that fend off any crashes after use.
Bioperine – 5 mg
Ultimately, an absorption ingredient that makes the ingestion process much smoother. Bioperine will work to prevent any possible side effects.
A frontrunner for the best DMAA pre workout of 2020, Crack Pre Workout rose to the top with 120 mg DMAA. Similarly, the Dark Labs pre workout dials you in for the whole of your gym session and the pumps are insane.
Next, Excelsior has become a somewhat staple in the pre workout game. Known for its tunnel vision focus and enhanced energy. If you like hardcore pre workouts, you would want to get your hands on this.
Thirdly, one of my absolute favorite pre workouts of all time, Assassin V6 is a super hard-hitter. While it does not have DMAA or any other ingredients us Stim Junkies love, this pre workout is one of the most well-made pre workouts I have ever tried.
