Lionheart pre workout is a pre workout supplement from Apollon Nutrition. This is the same company that brought us Assassin, Hooligan, and more.
This is a different type of pre workout. It is meant more for high intensity interval training (HIIT). HIIT includes cardio, combat training, peloton rides, etc. But it can definitely still be used for your daily gym workout.
In this Lionheart Pre Workout Review, you will find out everything you need to know. From the experience, ingredients, side effects, and more!
Supps Central offers Lionheart for 20% Off!
I took Lionheart on 1 full scoop. You can use it on 1/2 a scoop but I would not recommend it.
The flavor I tried was Green Demon. Which is a fruity flavor. It is decent. No further comments on flavor.
As for the experience, Lionheart delivers on its promise. This is an amazing endurance and power output pre workout.
I took the scoop, and then I went to work out soon after. I immediately felt the energy. Which is nothing crazy. Just nice, consistent energy.
What makes Lionheart great is the endurance. There are so many ingredients in this that made me feel like I could work out forever. Even past the point where I usually stop working out, I felt like I could go further.
On top of that, the power output is insane. I just felt stronger. No other way to explain it. This pre workout just made me feel like the workout was more effective.
The focus was solid. Nothing that is going to blow your mind. But again, that is not the point of Apollon Nutrition Lionheart.
This pre workout is not super high in stimulants. Meaning you can use it as an everyday supplement when you what to cycle.
Lionheart is a fairly low-stim pre workout that still covers all aspects. There are still stimulants like caffeine and others. Plus you still get focus with Alpha GPC.
At the end of the day the amounts are just a bit diluted. And you don’t have as many hardcoore, kick your ass ingredients.
Caffeine Anhydrous – 200mg
First we have the energy ingredient Caffeine Anhydrous. 200mg looks low on paper but with Lionheart it is more about endurance and power.
Beta Alanine – 3.2g
Next, the 3.2 grams of Beta-Alanine is going to give you that tingling sensation. A buzz that pushes you throughout the workout. Not to mention, it can also oftentimes help with endurance.
Betaine Nitrate – 2g
You guessed it, Betaine Nitrate is going to help with endurance. This is a proven ingredient that is used in super high-quality pre workouts.
Betaine Anhydrous – 1.25g
Then we have Betaine Anhydrous which is a performance booster. Increasing endurance to the point where you feel like you can go forever.
Alpha GPC – 600mg
One of the most used focus ingredients in both pre workouts and nootropics. Alpha GPC is going to get you in the zone during the session.
CoffeeBerry – 100mg
On the other hand, CoffeeBerry is going to help with burning fat. Not only that but also providing antioxidants that prevent harmful effects that typically come with pre workouts.
Theobromine – 200mg
Theobromine at 200mg is going to increase cardiovascular endurance. Plus improved blood flow that allows you to last longer (Source).
ElevATP – 150mg
ElevATP is a great power output ingredient you do not see often. Like Betaine Nitrate, you only see this component in premium products.
Coconut Water – 1g
Coconut water is a great hydration element and I love seeing hydration in this type of product. Because oftentimes you can get overwhelmed and things can go south.
Taurine – 2g
2 grams of Taurine is going to add to the endurance matrix. And at this point you can see why the endurance is so good with Lionheart.
AstraGin – 50mg
Lastly we have AstraGin at 50mg. A multi-faceted ingredient but more importantly helps with pumps and absorption.
How should I take Lionheart Pre Workout?
I would recommend taking 1 full scoop of Lionheart before your workout. Give it some time to kick in so you peak during the session.
Should I use a pre workout for HIIT?
Although pre workouts l aren’t required, they can absolutely help. And it is no different for HIIT. Especially because HIIT might not be as enjoyable as the gym, you may need Lionheart even more.
Does Apollon Nutrition Lionheart have any side effects?
From my experience, Lionheart has zero side effects. You can expect a clean workout with no crash.
Lionheart Pre Workout does what it is supposed to do and more. This supplement from Apollon Nutrition is truly great for HIIT. Nt only that but it could also be used for a daily workout.
Although Lionheart is low-stim, you are still going to get those great pre workout benefits. So if you want to cycle off your high-stim products, this would be a great option.
Bottom line, a high-quality multipurpose pre workout.
A frontrunner for the best DMAA pre workout of 2022, Crack Pre Workout rose to the top with 120 mg DMAA. Similarly, the Dark Labs pre workout dials you in for the whole of your gym session and the pumps are insane.
Excelsior has become a somewhat staple in the pre workout game. Known for its tunnel vision focus and enhanced energy. If you like hardcore pre workouts, you would want to get your hands on this.
Assassin Pre Workout Review v7
Lastly, one of my absolute favorite pre workouts of all time, Assassin is a super hard-hitter. While it does not have DMAA or any other ingredients us Stim Junkies love, this pre workout is one of the most well-made pre workouts I have ever tried.
