Summer Cravings
Summer is just around the corner and a lot of us are in the midst of our cut. And We all at some point get that craving, needing to get something sweet into your body! But you just can’t afford the calories or your macros can’t handle the fat?
If only you had something that is actually food (not powder), fills you up and tastes great.
We feel you bro and we are here to help you. Our team sat down and came up with these 3 surprisingly low calorie cheats. Yeah! A sweet cheat with less than 100 calories and a surprising macro profile. Ok! Let the countdown begin:
Number 1 – Sweetened Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt
Take one of these babies and add a packet of sweetener (stevia is our fav) to it. mix and enjoy. It is hard to believe that 6 oz of Chobani’s nonfat Greek Yogurt is only 100 calories! And guess what … 70 of these 100 are from Protein! And the best thing we like about it is that it gives you the feeling you actually had a meal.
Number 2 – 300 grams of Raw Strawberries (yeah, that’s more than half a pound)
We love strawberries. Not only they are sweet and filling, they are healthy and full of nutritional value. And surprisingly enough; this 300 grams serving will keep you under 100 calories. With zero fat, only 15 grams net carbs, tons of fiber and even 2 grams of protein.
Number 3 – 3 Oz of Peanut butter (the powdered kind)
Who doesn’t like peanut butter? Yet the problem with regular PB is that a 2 TBSP serving (not really a snack) is 180 calories with 144 of them from fat. Well, not really your ideal cutting food. But, wait, there’s a solution! And if you never tried it before, go ahead and go get a jar of the PB2 magical peanut butter powder which you get here. You just take 4 TBSP of this powder and mix it with 2 TBSP of water. Now you can get your 6 TBSP (3 oz) worth of peanut butter that tastes amazing and keeps you under 90 calories (!) with (get this) only 3 grams of fat, 2 grams of sugar and (drum roll) 10 grams of protein. Well, enough said!
It Gets Even Better
You know what? If you have a bit more cals to spare, you can mix number 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 and get some amazing fulfilling treats under 200 cals (compare that to your average energy bar or a banana). Go ahead try that Greek yogurt peanut butter delicatessen for less than 200 cals. Your cheats will never look the same again!
